CES Devanning
Definition
Devanning performed specifically at a Central Examination Station, where CBP or USDA agricultural inspectors oversee the unloading so cargo can be examined before Customs release. Distinct from routine warehouse devanning, which occurs without regulatory supervision.
Example
For example, CES staff unload the container and stage the cargo for an intensive exam.
