Community Commitment and Giving Back
For more than 60 years, Island Movers has believed that being a local company means giving back.
Hawaiʻi has supported us for generations. Supporting our community is our way of saying mahalo.
We do this quietly, consistently, and with heart.
Supporting Youth & Education
We are proud longtime supporters of Hawaiʻi high school athletics, including the HHSAA Track and Field State Championships. Watching student-athletes grow, compete, and represent their schools inspires us every year.
We also sponsor the Hawaiʻi Island Movers collegiate summer baseball team. This program gives young athletes the chance to compete, travel, and experience different cultures while representing Hawaiʻi with pride.
Education matters to us as well. We continue to support local schools and university programs because investing in students means investing in the future of our islands.
Caring for Our Community
Our team participates in annual campaigns that support local nonprofits across Hawaiʻi. Through workplace giving and volunteer efforts, we help organizations that provide essential services to families in need.
Island Movers employees also take part in community health walks and fundraising events. Many of these causes are personal to our team. We show up for our neighbors just as we would for our own family.
Each year, we join the Visitor Industry Charity Walk alongside thousands of others who believe in strengthening our community together.
Preserving Culture
We are honored to support events like the Aloha Festivals Floral Parade and the Honolulu Festival.
These celebrations keep Hawaiʻi’s traditions alive and promote cultural exchange throughout the Pacific. Supporting them reflects who we are: local, connected, and proud of our island home.
Helping in Times of Crisis
When disasters happen, logistics matter.
Island Movers has provided trucks, warehouse space, and transportation support during hurricanes, floods, volcanic eruptions, and wildfires. After the Maui fires, our team helped move and organize donated goods so they could reach families quickly.
Much of this work happens behind the scenes. We step in because we can help.
